Photo Studio Challenge - Round 1

As some readers of this blog may know, I am a full time staff photographer in a product studio for Nordstrom. I work with several other very talented photographers and stylists who all love their jobs. We decided collectively to start a bi-weekly photo challenge, we could be creative and share with each other some work outside of product photography. Every two weeks we will identify a theme, shoot an image or series of images, and then get together and share our images and process. 

Our first round theme was "Street Photography" which we defined as a natural candid moment, shot without posing or any interference from the photographer. Here are the submissions:

Life This Week - Life LAST week: Disneyland

I'm a little late on my weekly life post, but here it is. 100% family Disneyland photos. 

***WARNING*** This post is photo heavy, even for me. 

First things first: Feed the kids. Jack would need all the energy he could get. Flo's in Cars Land at California Adventure is THE place to eat. 

Stopped for a quick family photo in front of the boardwalk. The employee that took this photo took the time to compose us and made a really nice family photo. Thanks man!

This was the first trip that Jack was tall enough to ride the 40" rides. He was so excited to ride Star Tours!

Life this week - Chipotle.....again

This week was interesting. Things were very very busy, but not a lot happened. The studio was slammed with product and people. Between visitors, temps and a lot of big handbags events coming up, it was a crazy week, but outside of that, not much to speak of. We went to Chipotle again...

Chipotle. We can't stop and we won't stop.

We were evacuated from the studio over some minor thing. It's a good thing some of us can still be fab, even in the parking lot in the hot sun.
